The Greta Thunberg story

In August of 2018, Greta began protesting outside her school in Stockholm, saying climate change was more important than education for future generations. It wasn’t long before many others joined her and within months a global movement was born. By March, 2019, more than 2 million students in 135 countries were striking from school. When Greta was invited to the UN climate summit in New York, she crossed the Atlantic in a zero-emission yacht. It’s been just 13 months since her first school strike in Sweden, she is now the world’s most famous climate activist. About the series: Every week we’ll bring you a new video story on the entrepreneurs, companies and countries changing our planet for the better. Check back every Monday for a new video on the incredible people changing our world.
